Happy Tails

Precious Kittens in their new forever home.

And here's little Lucy ...

We wanted to send you a few pictures of Lucy, who we adopted 7-18-16. She is adjusting to her new home quite well. She loves laying in her perch, sitting on the window sill to look out, and enjoys carrying her toys around in her mouth and even to bed with her. She is doing great! Thanks again.

Heres Maxwell ...

I just wanted to give you another update. He is doing great. He is such a joy. The hearing thing must have been just because it was a new surrounding or something because he can hear everything I do esp if it pertains to food. Boy can he eat and does he love chicken. When company comes to our house he has to come check out who is here for attention and he greats and talks to me every morning. I just love him so much.

Some Pix of Purrsia ...

Purssia has adjusted to her new family wonderful we all love her.

Snoopy

I just wanted to give you an update on Snoopy since we've had him for just over a month now! When he isn't lounging around, he is either running around trying to catch flies or climbing up on our fireplace. He even caught a mouse, and he was very proud of that. Although I wish he liked to snuggle more, I do love when he walks around me just purring at my feet. Maybe I can convince my husband we need another one to snuggle with! lol He also enjoys sitting on the edge of the bath tub in the morning when I take a shower, and then drinking the water dripping from the faucet when I'm done. He has adjusted well to when my step-son's dog comes over, they understand each other boundaries and we haven't had any issues. Snoopy really has been such a great cat! I'm very glad we were able to give him a good home!

Suki

Suki is doing well. She is still slowly making parts of the house more comfortable for her; the living room is her least-visited so far. She is totally obsessed with her soft cat toys (the one she's holding has a pocket for catnip), and loves chasing the dangle-on-a-stick. She is still a bit shy and skittish but she always seeks us out for attention. I've become addicted to Jackson Galaxy's Animal Planet series, "My Cat From Hell". Lots of good behavioral pointers for dealing with cats. Hope all is going well with your rescue efforts.

Jax sure knows how to make himself at home ...

Hello, here are some recent pictures of the male kitten I recently adopted. I have decided to name him Jax and his is doing great. He is full of energy and never stops playing. My other cat Ricki loves to play with Jax and they both take turns chasing each other around. He is fitting in well with his new family!

Jax on his way to his new home

My, how frosty has grown!

But mom, the dryer makes me fluffy.

More Frosty

Frosty

Had to share a picture with you so wanted to give you a quick update. Frosty is doing really well and gets a long with my 2 fur babies. We absolutely love her. Her personality is awesome. She goes Monday to get her stiches out and her first vet check. Put the cone on and the little cuties figured out how to get it off. I will keep pictures and updates coming. Thank you so much for letting us adopt her.

Bentley

I was just sitting here looking at Bentley's pictures and realized I haven't sent you updated pictures of him since last July! Shame on me! He is the most loving, cuddly cat ever and by far the best $100 I have ever spent! I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Anna

Anna is a delight. She has made herself right at home and is free in the house. She is about the same size as KitKat, her playmate, and the older cat just accepts her. Absolutely no problems with the older cat. She thinks sleeping on my bed just under the comforter is a perfect spot. Benjamin, the 3 yo golden doodle isn’t quite sure what to make of her. Particularly on the night when she started to sniff him as he slept. She must have tickled him a little and he awoke with a start. Od course, she was gone by that time and he accused me. I love my furry family. Thank you for turning Anna into a brave little love bug….sandy

Lucy

I just wanted to let you know that Lucy is doing wonderful. She warmed up so quick and is the sweetest girl. We love her already. Thank you so much

Cecil

Hi Kathy and Kate, I hope you remember me. I can't believe it's been 7 weeks since I was adopted! I just want you to know my name is DEFINITELY Cecil! My mom called me Kona for a week after I came to live with her and it just didn't seem to fit me, so we went back to Cecil and we all are sure that it's the best name for me. I love my new home! There is so much to do. There are so many toys, I don't know how I can find the time to play with them all! Of course my favorite is when Mom plays with me with the toys on the stick with all of the dangling things. Chasing the laser is fun too! There are also posts and cardboard all over the place so I can scratch them instead of the furniture. I have a lot of comfy places to nap as well. I especially like to sleep on the computer keyboard. Of course, I am a pretty nosey little guy, so I am always finding new places to check out. I learned where the litter box is almost right away, because I am so smart...at least that is what my Mom says. My new big brother Harpo is my best buddy! After an initial hiss or two, he welcomed me right in. My mom thinks that he is paying it forward because when he came to live here his big brother, Beanie, who went over the rainbow bridge a while back, was so nice to him. We wrestle and play a lot. He is gentle with me though, as he is a lot bigger than me (at least at the moment, he is!) We cuddle and sleep together too. My sisters Sweetie Pie and Twiggy are nice, but they really think I am rather silly and more of a pest. They do like to join in on the group play times. When my Mom's friends visit , they fuss all over me. I guess it is because I am so cute and loveable. And I have to say, I love all of the attention! My mom is constantly taking pictures of me! I think I heard her say that she has over 600 photos of me on her phone! She made a couple of photo collages to send here to you because there were so many cute shots, she couldn't choose. When I went to see Dr Strong, my vet on March 18, when I was only a little over 4 months old, I weighed 4.8 lbs! She said I was going to be a BIG BOY when I grow up! I got my shot too. Last week I had my operation at All Pets Hospital. It wasn't too bad of an experience, but I am glad it is over. I was so sleepy that night, I missed a lot of playtime. Since then I am back to my old self. My silly mom forgot to bring the paper for the doctor to sign, so she has to go back and get taken care of, then she will send it to you. My Mom says to tell you that she couldn't have asked for a more "purrfect kitty" to come and live with her. I know she loves me very much, and she knows I love her too because I am always on her lap and purring and I love to sleep with her too. I hope you like the photos she is sending. Thanks for letting my Mom adopt me! From, Cecil

Jasmine

Jasmine is doing terrific. She has adjusted well to her new home and has accepted us as her new family. She loves to cuddle and she is a very loving cat. She is prodigious purrer. We just adore her. Here are some photos of her since she is now the Queen of the household.

Buggs

Everyone is is getting along. I think these two may become best friends. Thank you.

Nicholas

Thank you again for such a sweet boy! We are having a ton of fun. Still have not decided if we are going to change his name though!

Maxwell

I just wanted to send you an update on Maxwell. He has adjusted so well, better than I had imagined. We had him in my smaller dogs crate when he was downstairs so my two dogs could smell him to get use to him, and that went very well. The dogs got to the point they would just walk by the crate. Then at night he was in our bedroom with us, with his litter box and food. He really didn't eat much for the first few days as expected. Then in the middle of the night I could hear him crunching. That made me so happy. Of course he really drove my husband crazy all night ... After a few nights of him with us, we let him roam the house at night. He has adjusted so well, now he loves to eat, very good at using litter box and rubs himself around the dogs. He is starting to get a little more vocal, and he seems to have no fear. Greets me in the kitchen every morning and has his morning talk...I love it ! Last Monday, we took him to the vet just for an overview. Plus we did have him micro-chipped just to be cautious, and they said he is very healthy and weighs about 8 lbs. I just got him a little collar so I can put his HomeAgain tag on it. I want to thank you so much, he has filled such a void I've had. I love him to pieces. An Update : He's doing great! Eats like he hasn't had food for days. Found out he loves chicken nuggets from McDonald's. My son was eating them one night and he came up behind him on the couch and started pawing at him was so cute. Dogs are doing great with him, they could care less, but in the morning he rubs himself around my Jackrussell's legs then she decides to lick him. So sweet!

Speck

Just wanted to let you know Speck is well adjusted and doing great.

Tator

Our hearts are happy!!!! Thank you!!!! Update: They are taking to one another quite well!! Tator is such a love bug and loves being with either Indy or us. Indy enjoys sleeping under the couch. I am so glad we got two because they entertain each other so well!! I finally saw Tator eating dry food yesterday!!

Daisy

We renamed zena, she is now our Lily. It fits her. The 2 cats have such different personalities. The torti (daisy) will let you hold her and love her and she won't move; Lily only wants to be loved on her own terms, lol, and that is usually at 230am, when I am fast asleep. She purrs so loud and won't stop until I give her love. Lol. Here are a couple of pictures of them that I took this past evening....

Juno

Hey Kate just an update!! Juno is here and seems to be enjoying herself. She played hard for about 2 hours with all her new toys, and then passed on the couch for a nap with me❤️❤️❤️. I think she had a long day. But she is using her litter box, she drank a little water, and figured out how to use the couch lol. She is a little love bug we absolutely adore her!!!!
